The free 30-day Pro trial
When you first open the Tab Valet sidebar, a 30-day Pro trial starts automatically. No credit card required, no sign-up needed. You get full access to all Pro features — unlimited parked tabs, automatic archiving, and search — for 30 days.
The onboarding card shows your trial end date. You'll also see a reminder banner in the sidebar when 9 or fewer days remain.
What happens when the trial ends
At the end of 30 days, Tab Valet moves you to the free plan automatically. You'll see a one-time notice in the sidebar explaining the change.
- If you have more than 10 parked tabs, tabs beyond the limit are moved to the archive so nothing is lost
- Search becomes locked (greyed out with an upgrade prompt)
- Automatic archiving stops; you can still archive manually
- The first 10 parked tabs continue to be managed as normal
The free tier parking limit
On the free plan, Tab Valet parks up to 10 tabs. When you reach 10 parked tabs, a yellow separator appears in the sidebar — parking is paused until you free up a slot by restoring, dismissing, or archiving a tab.
How to upgrade to Pro
Click any of the upgrade prompts in the sidebar (the trial warning banner, the expiry notice, or the upgrade separator), or click Add to Chrome and follow the payment link. Payment is handled securely by ExtensionPay.
Cancellation
Cancel at any time through the ExtensionPay customer portal. After cancellation, your account moves to the free plan at the end of the billing period. No data is lost.
