Search Parked & Archived Tabs

Tab Valet Pro includes instant in-sidebar search across all your parked tabs and archived bookmarks — find any tab in seconds by typing part of its title, domain, or description.

Opening search

Click the search icon (magnifying glass) in the sidebar header. A search panel slides in with a text input. Start typing immediately — results appear as you type.

On the free plan after the trial, the search icon is visible but locked. Clicking it opens the upgrade page.

What search covers

Search looks across both parked tabs and archived tabs simultaneously. Results are grouped into two sections:

  • Parked Tabs — tabs currently in your sidebar
  • Archived Tabs — tabs saved to your "Tab Valet Archive" bookmarks folder

What search matches on

Tab Valet searches across three fields for each tab:

  • Title — the page title
  • Domain — the website address (e.g., github.com)
  • Description — a short page description extracted automatically when the tab was open

Restoring a tab from search results

Click any result to restore it. The tab opens in your browser and, if it was archived, is removed from the archive.

Closing search

Click the search icon again in the header, or press Escape, to close the search panel and return to your parked tabs list.

Search is available during the free trial

Search is included in the free 30-day Pro trial. After the trial ends, search requires a Pro subscription. See Plans & Pricing for details.
