AI Thematic Grouping New
Parked tabs now organize themselves. Switch the sidebar to Thematic view and your tabs are automatically sorted into folders like Work, Development, Research & Reading, Shopping, and more — no manual tagging required.
- Common, unambiguous sites (GitHub, Gmail, Amazon, and hundreds more) are themed instantly at park time using a built-in lookup — no AI call, no waiting
- Everything else is classified by Chrome's on-device AI model, which reads a short summary of the page and assigns it a theme — nothing leaves your computer
- If the AI can't confidently place a tab, it mints a new folder that fits, so niche or personal research still gets grouped sensibly
- Tab Valet learns as you go: once a site is classified the same way a few times in a row, that mapping is remembered so future visits theme instantly, without needing the AI again
- New Chronological / Thematic view toggle in the sidebar, with A–Z sorting and expand/collapse-all for theme folders
- Available during your active trial or with Pro Access
Quality Improvements Reliability
- More accurate classification — several rounds of tuning fixed the AI over-anchoring on URL/domain text instead of page content, over-merging loosely related pages into the same folder, and fragmenting what should have been one category.
- No more indefinite "Pending" — if on-device AI is unavailable on your device, unclassified tabs now settle into an "Other" folder instead of waiting forever.

Tab Snooze New
Park a tab and tell it when to come back. Instead of leaving tabs open "just in case," snooze them and Tab Valet returns them at exactly the right time.
- Snooze any parked tab via the clock icon in the sidebar, or right-click any open page and choose Snooze Tab from the context menu
- Four quick presets: Later (4 hours), Tomorrow (9 AM), This Weekend (Saturday 9 AM), Next Week (Monday 9 AM) — plus a Custom date/time picker when you snooze from the sidebar
- New Coming Back sidebar section lists waiting tabs sorted by wake time, with a cancel button on hover
- New Ready sidebar section (highlighted in amber) alerts you when a snoozed tab's timer fires — click to open, re-snooze, or dismiss
- Snoozed and Ready tabs count toward your tab total — including the free-plan limit — just like parked tabs

Bug Fixes Fix
- Active tab protection — the tab you're currently viewing can no longer be accidentally parked by the auto-parking engine, even on pages that trigger unusual focus events during typing.
Reliability Improvements Reliability
- Service worker self-healing — the background service worker now detects and clears stale migration state after a Chrome update or device sleep, preventing the parking engine from freezing silently.
- Serialized storage writes — concurrent storage operations are now queued with a mutex, eliminating rare data races when multiple tabs are parked or restored simultaneously.
- TypeScript background module — the core background script was migrated to TypeScript, closing a class of silent type errors in the tab-lifecycle pipeline.
