Snoozed Tabs

Park a tab and tell it when to come back. Snoozed tabs wait quietly until the right moment, then reappear in your sidebar ready to reopen.

What snoozing does

When you snooze a tab, Tab Valet parks it and sets a timer. When the timer fires, the tab moves to the Ready section in the sidebar — highlighted in amber — so you know it's time to return to it.

Snoozed tabs don't appear in your tab strip or distract you while they're waiting. They sit in the Coming Back section until their wake time arrives.

How to snooze a parked tab

  1. Open the Tab Valet sidebar
  2. Hover over any parked tab to reveal the action buttons
  3. Click the clock icon to open the snooze picker
  4. Select a preset or enter a custom date and time

How to snooze a tab from the page

  1. Right-click anywhere on any open page
  2. Open Tab ValetSnooze Tab
  3. Pick one of the four presets — Later, Tomorrow, This Weekend, or Next Week

The tab is parked immediately and scheduled to return at the time you chose. The context menu offers the four presets only; to choose a custom date and time, snooze from the sidebar instead.

Snooze presets

PresetWakes at
Later 4 hours from now
Tomorrow Next day at 9:00 AM
This Weekend Next Saturday at 9:00 AM
Next Week Next Monday at 9:00 AM
Custom Any date and time you choose (sidebar only)

All presets always resolve to a future time. Wake times are shown in your local time zone using your system's 12-hour or 24-hour preference.

The "Coming Back" section

Snoozed tabs that are still waiting appear in the Coming Back section, below the Parked section in the sidebar. Tabs are sorted by wake time — the soonest one is listed first. Each row shows the page title, domain, and the scheduled wake time (e.g., "Tomorrow · 9:00 AM").

To cancel a snooze, hover over the tab in Coming Back and click the button. The tab returns to the regular Parked section.

The "Ready" section

When a snoozed tab's timer fires, it moves to the Ready section at the top of the sidebar, highlighted in amber with a Ready badge. This is your cue to return to that tab.

From the Ready section you can:

  • Click the tab title to open it immediately
  • Hover and click the clock icon to re-snooze it for a later time
  • Hover and click the ✕ to dismiss it permanently
Re-snoozing from Ready lets you postpone without reopening the tab. Pick a new time and it moves back to Coming Back.

Free plan and the tab limit

Snoozed and Ready tabs count toward the 10-tab free plan limit, the same as parked tabs. If you reach the limit, the upgrade prompt appears in the sidebar.

Upgrading to Pro gives you unlimited parked, snoozed, and ready tabs. See Plans & Pricing for details.
