Tab Valet sends minimal, anonymous product events to PostHog to help improve the extension — for example, "a tab was parked" or "the trial started." These events contain no tab URLs, titles, page content, or any information that could identify you or your browsing. Each device is identified by a randomly generated ID stored in Chrome. You can view PostHog's privacy policy at posthog.com/privacy.
ExtensionPay — Used for payment processing and Pro subscription management. When you upgrade to Pro, ExtensionPay processes your payment and stores your subscription status. Please review ExtensionPay's Privacy Policy for details.
PostHog — Used for anonymous product analytics as described above. No personal data or browsing content is shared.
All tab data and preferences are stored locally using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your device, is not shared with third parties, and can be cleared by uninstalling the extension or clearing Chrome extension data.
None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit browsing data to external services.
Tab Valet does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The extension is designed for general productivity use.
